Kyyjärvi is a municipality in Central Finland. About 1,430 people lived there in January 2014. The municipalities next to it are Alajärvi, Karstula, Kivijärvi, Perho and Soini. There is also a lake called Kyyjärvi what is located in the Kyyjärvi municipality. The name Kyyjärvi means "adder lake" in Finnish.
Kyyjärvi was established in 1929.
