Kyrgyzstan has been in four Summer Games and four Winter Games as an independent state. They have won three medals. The nation was part of the Soviet Union before 1992. In 1992, Kyrgyzstan was on the Unified Team. Kyrgyzstan was at the 1994 Winter Olympics as their own country after the breakup of the Soviet Union.
