Kannus

Kannus is a town in Central Ostrobothnia, Finland. As of 31 December 2023, 5,246 people lived there. Neighbouring municipalities are Kalajoki, Kokkola, Sievi and Toholampi.
Kannus was founded in 1859.
The Sámi people have inhabited the area. This town is named after the Sámi drum.
