John Collier (28th January 1850 - 11 April 1932) was a British author and painter. He had a Pre-Raphelite style. Collier was well-known for his portraits. He also did some genre paintings. He was one of the 24 founders of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters. In 1920 he was awarded the Order of the British Empire.
