beer brand from Australia From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Foster's is a full strength Australian beer. It was first brewed by the brothers, W.M. Foster and R.R. Foster, in 1887.[1] It is an European style lager, with 4.9% alcohol.[1] More than 100 million cases of Foster's Lager are sold around the world each year, which makes it Australia's biggest selling beer.[2] It is brewed in nine countries using 20 breweries.[2] While known overseas as a classic Australian beer, it is far less common in Australia than other beers such as Victoria Bitter and XXXX Gold.
