Summary
DescriptionCheckmateProper.jpg |
Photo taken by myself. Incidentally, this is the 4" Marshall set from the House of Staunton. The black pieces are "ebonized" - stained black to simulate en:ebony wood. The white pieces are boxwood. I chose this set because the pieces are almost identical to the en:Jaques of London millennium set, and Jaques is the originator of the standard en:Staunton chess set design for en:chess pieces. en:Category:Chess images |
