Elliott Belgrave

Sir Elliot Belgrave, CHB, KC (born March 16, 1931[1]), is a Barbadian politician and retired High Court Judge.[2] He was the Acting Governor-General of Barbados from 1 November 2011 to June 30, 2017.[3] Belgrave graduated from the universities of Cambridge (MA) and London (LLB). He is a former Director of Public Prosecutions in Barbados. He was Judge of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal of Barbados. He is a King's Counsel. Belgrave was awarded the Companion of Honour of Barbados for his contribution to the legal system in Barbados.[4]
