Carlos Del Toro (born 1961)[1] is a Cuban-born[2] American retired military officer and businessman. He is the 78th and current United States Secretary of the Navy since 2021.

He worked for the Office of the Secretary of Defense and special assistant to the director and deputy director of the Office of Management and Budget. He was also the commanding officer of the USS Bulkeley.[3]
In June 2021, President Joe Biden nominated Del Toro to serve as the United States Secretary of the Navy.[4][5][6]
