Bytča (Hungarian: Nagybiccse) is a town in northwestern Slovakia. It is on the Váh river near the cities of Žilina and Považská Bystrica. It is part of the Upper Váh region of tourism.
The town was first mentioned in 1234 as terra Bycha.
