Altamira Municipality, Tamaulipas

Altamira is a municipality in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. In 2010, 212,001 people lived there. The municipality has a total area of 1,666.53 km² (643.45 sq mi). The main cities are Altamira and Miramar.
