Akbar's tomb is the tomb of the third Mughal emperor Akbar the Great. It is in Agra, near Delhi, It was built in 1605–1613.
The main tomb structure is a massive sandstone building with a central dome and four smaller domes at each corner. The exterior of the tomb is made with intricate designs and calligraphic inscriptions. The interior of the tomb features a central chamber, which houses Akbar's cenotaph. The walls are decorated with precious stones and the floor is made with marble.[1]
