2021 conflict between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan / From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A border conflict happened between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan from 28 April to 1 May 2021. The conflict began because of an old water dispute between the two Central Asian countries.[2][3] At least 46 people were killed in the events and more than 30,000 civilians were displaced.

On 1 May 2021, the two countries agreed on a new ceasefire, thus ending the conflict.[4][5]
