Reial Club Deportiu Espanyol de Barcelona (Catalan pronunciation: [rəˈjaɫ ˈkɫub dəpurˈtiw əspəˈɲɔɫ də βərsəˈɫonə], Inglis: Royal Spanish Sports Club of Barcelona), or simply RCD Espanyol, is a sports club based in Barcelona, Spain. It is best kent for its fitbaw team. Espanyol currently play in the Estadi Cornellà-El Prat wi seats for 40,500 spectators. It haes been their hame stadium syne 2 August 2009. Espanyol haes previously played at Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, which hostit the 1992 Simmer Olympics an aw, an at Estadi de Sarrià, a venue for the 1982 FIFA Warld Cup.
