Dumbarton Castle (Scots Gaelic: Dùn Breatainn, pronounced [d̪̊unˈb̊ɾʲɛhd̪̊ɪɲ]) haes the langest recordit history o ony stranghauld in Great Breetain. It owerleuks the Scots toun o Dumbarton, an sits on a plug o volcanic basalt kent as Dumbarton Rock which is 240 feet (73 m) heich.
