Tamra (Arabic: طمرة, Hebrew: טַמְרָה or תַמְרָה) is an Israeli Arab ceety in the North Destrict o Israel locatit in the Lower Galilee 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) north o the ceety o Shefa-'Amr an approximately 20 kilometres (12 mi) east o Akko (Acre). The name Tamra means date paum in Arabic. It is a common ceety name throughoot the Arab warld.
