It extends approximately atween the parallels o 33°51’ an 35°01’ sooth latitude, an atween the meridian o 70°02’ wast langitude an the Paceefic Ocean.
The caipital an lairgest ceety o the region is Rancagua. The seicont major toun is San Fernando.
