Hodonín (Czech pronunciation: [ˈɦodoɲiːn]; German: Göding) is a toun on the River Morava in the sootheast o Moravie, in the Czech Republic. It lees in the Sooth Moravie Region. The population is 25,259 (2012). Hodonín wis first mentioned in 1046. In 1228 it became a toun. In 1850 Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk, the first preses o independent Czechoslovakie, wis born thare.
