Carichí is a toun in the Mexican state o Chihuahua. It serves as the municipal seat o the surroondin municipality o the same name.

The toun wis foondit as a Jesuit mission (Misión de Jesús de Carachí) on 18 November 1675. Its name comes frae the Tarahumara name Güerocarichí. Prior tae 24 August 1982, the toun wis offeecially kent bi the alternative name Carichic.
The 2005 INEGI census population wis 1,478.[1]
