ਲੇਕ ਪੈਲੇਸ (ਪੁਰਾਣਾ ਨਾਮ ਜੱਗ ਨਿਵਾਸ) ਇੱਕ ਉੱਚ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੋਟਲ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 83 ਕਮਰੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰ ਕਮਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋੜੀਦਾਂ ਸਮਾਨ, ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਵਾਰਾਂ ਉੱਪਰ ਚਿੱਟਾ ਮਾਰਬਲ ਲੱਗਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਲੇਕ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਉਦੈਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀ ਲੇਕ ਪਿਛੋਲਾ ਝੀਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਟਾਪੂ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ 4 acres (16,000 m2) ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।[1] ਹੋਟਲ ਵਲੋਂ ਕਿਸਤੀ ਰਾਹੀ ਮਹਿਮਾਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਤੋ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਤੱਕ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਸਭ ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਰੋਮਾਂਟਿਕ ਹੋਟਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਚੁਣਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ.
ਇਤਿਹਾਸ
ਲੇਕ ਪੈਲੇਸ1743 ਤੋ 1746 [1] ਮਾਹਾਰਾਣਾ ਜਗਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਦੂਜਾਵਲੋਂ ਉਦੈਪੁਰ, ਰਾਜਸਥਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਸੁਰੂਆਤੀ ਨਾਮ ਜੱਗਨਿਵਾਸ ਜਾਂ ਜਨ ਨਿਵਾਸ ਸੀ। ਪੈਲੇਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਪੂਰਵ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਹਿੰਦੋ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਹਰ ਰੋਜ ਸੂਰਜ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਸ਼ ਸਮੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਦੇਵਤਾ ਸੂਰਜ ਅੱਗੇ ਪ੍ਰਥਾਨਾ ਕਰ ਸਕਣ।[2] ਵਿਰਾਸ਼ਤੀ ਰਾਜੇ ਇਸ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਗ, ਫਬਾਰੇ, ਥੰਮਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਵਿਹੜੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਦਰਬਾਰ ਸਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਨ। ਉੱਪਰ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਮਰੇ ਦੀ ਬਣਤਰ ਗੋਲਾਕਾਰ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਘੇਰਾ 21 ਫੁੱਟ।[2] 1971 ਵਿੱਚ ਤਾਜ ਹੋਟਲਸ ਰਿਜ਼ੋਰਟਸ ਅਤੇ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਦੇਖ ਰੇਖ ਕੀਤੀ[3] ਅਤੇ 75 ਹੋਰ ਕਮਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ।[4] ਜਮਸ਼ਯਦ ਡੀ.ਏਫ. ਲਾਮ ਤਾਜ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ ਜਿਸਨੇ ਲੇਕ ਪੈਲੇਸ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋਗਦਾਨ ਦਿੱਤਾ। 2000 ਈ. ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਦਾ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਥੇ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੇ "ਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਲੋਕ" ਮੂਲ ਮਹਿਲ ਮਾਲਿਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਵਾਰਿਸ ਹਨ।[1]
