ਯੂਰੋ (ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨ: €; ਕੋਡ: EUR) ਯੂਰਪੀ ਸੰਘ ਦੀਆਂ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਮੁਦਰਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਰੋਜੋਨ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ ਮੁਦਰਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸੰਘ ਦੇ 28 ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 20 ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ: ਆਸਟਰੀਆ, ਬੈਲਜੀਅਮ, ਸਾਈਪ੍ਰਸ, ਇਸਤੋਨੀਆ, ਫ਼ਿਨਲੈਂਡ, ਫ਼ਰਾਂਸ, ਜਰਮਨੀ, ਯੂਨਾਨ, ਆਇਰਲੈਂਡ, ਇਟਲੀ, ਲਕਸਮਬਰਗ, ਮਾਲਟਾ, ਨੀਦਰਲੈਂਡ, ਪੁਰਤਗਾਲ, ਸਲੋਵਾਕੀਆ, ਸਲੋਵੇਨੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਸਪੇਨ।^[3][4] ਇਹ ਮੁਦਰਾ ਪੰਜ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਮੁਥਾਜ ਯੂਰਪੀ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਇਹਨੂੰ ਲਗਭਗ 33.2 ਕਰੋੜ ਯੂਰਪੀਆਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵਰਤੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ।^[5] ਇਹ ਤੋਂ ਬਗ਼ੈਰ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ 17.5 ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕ—ਅਫ਼ਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ 15 ਕਰੋੜ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ—ਯੂਰੋ ਨਾਲ਼ ਜੁੜੀਆਂ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੁਦਰਾਵਾਂ ਵਰਤਦੇ ਹਨ।
