ପ୍ରତିଭା ରାୟ

ପ୍ରତିଭା ରାୟ (ଜନ୍ମ: ୨୧ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୧୯୪୩) ଜଣେ ଭାରତୀୟ ଓଡ଼ିଆ-ଭାଷୀ ଲେଖିକା । ସେ ଜ୍ଞାନପୀଠ ପୁରସ୍କାର ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ ପ୍ରଥମ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ମହିଳା ସାହିତ୍ୟିକା ।^[2] ଜ୍ଞାନପୀଠ ପୁରସ୍କାରରେ ସମ୍ମାନିତ ହେବାରେ ସେ ହେଉଛନ୍ତି ଚତୁର୍ଥ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ଏବଂ ଭାରତର ସପ୍ତମ ମହିଳା ଲେଖିକା ।^[3] ୧୯୭୪ରେ ତାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରଥମ ଉପନ୍ୟାସ 'ବର୍ଷା, ବସନ୍ତ ଓ ବୈଶାଖ' ପାଠକୀୟ ସ୍ୱୀକୃତି ଲାଭ କରିଥିଲା ।^[4] ତାଙ୍କ ରଚିତ "ଯାଜ୍ଞସେନୀ" (୧୯୮୫) ପୁସ୍ତକ ଲାଗି ୧୯୯୦ ମସିହାରେ ସେ ଶାରଳା ପୁରସ୍କାର ଓ ୧୯୯୧ ମସିହାରେ ଦେଶର ପ୍ରଥମ ମହିଳା ଭାବେ ମୂର୍ତ୍ତୀଦେବୀ ପୁରସ୍କାର ଲାଭକରିଥିଲେ ।^[5] ପରବର୍ତ୍ତୀ ସମୟରେ ଏହ ପୁସ୍ତକଟି ସାତଟି ଭାଷାରେ ଅନୂଦିତ ହୋଇଥିଲା ।^[6]

ସେ ବିଦ୍ୟାଳୟର ଶିକ୍ଷକ ଭାବେ ବୃତ୍ତିଗତ ଜୀବନ ଆରମ୍ଭ କରିଥିଲେ ଓ ପରେ ୧୯୯୮ ମସିହାରେ ପ୍ରାଧ୍ୟ୍ୟାପକ ଭାବେ ସ୍ୱେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ ଅବସର ଗ୍ରହଣ କରି ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଲୋକ ସେବା ଆୟୋଗରେ (ଓପିଏସସି) ସଦସ୍ୟ ଭାବେ ଯୋଗଦାନ କରିଥିଲେ ।^[7]

ଜୀବନୀ

ସେ ଓଡ଼ିଶାର ଜଗତସିଂହପୁର ଜିଲ୍ଲାର ବାଲିକୁଦାଠାରେ ୨୧ ଜାନୁଆରୀ ୧୯୪୩ ମସିହାରେ ଜନ୍ମ ଗ୍ରହଣ କରିଥିଲେ ।^[8]
