Lo Sturmgewehr 44 ò Stg 44 es un fusiu d'assaut desvolopat a partir de 1942 per Alemanha. Es generalament considerat coma lo premier fusiu d'assaut modèrne. Aperaquí 500 000 unitats foguèron produchas e lo Stg 44 venguèt una arma apreciada au sen de la Wehrmacht. Après la guèrra, leis estòcs foguèron principalament capturats per l'Union Sovietica que lei donèt a seis aliats coma Iogoslovia ò la RDA. Lo Stg 44 inspirèt tanben la concepcion de l'AK-47[1].
