En 1987, an publicat lo tròç Pump Up the Volume que foguèt una capitada enòrma (foguèt lo primièr tròç house n°1 al Reialme Unit), devengut aital culte en fasent de la house music un estili popular. Aital, MARRS es considerat coma pionièr del genre house.
