Calendas (var. Chalendas, Calenas), en occitan, es l'ensems dei grandei fèstas crestianas de l'ivèrn, valent a dire Nadau, l'An Nòu e lei Reis, e tot lo periòde que leis enròda, amb seis usanças particularas.
Au sens estrech, lo mot designa sovent la fèsta de Nadau.
