Hantaoma es un grope de folk metal occitan e francés qu'es pasmens orientat vèrs lo black metal. Siguèt format a Tarba en Gasconha en 2004 per lei sòcis de Stille Volk. Hantaoma siguèt tanben lo nom chausit per aqueu grope per son premier album sortit en 1997. Aqueu nom ven dau tèrme "fantauma", que son d'èstres fantastics coma de paurs nuechencas, d'esperits de la natura ò encara de gènis de la montanha que siguèron crenhuts a passat temps per leis abitants dei Pirenèus.
