Torresstredet eller Torressundet (engelsk: Torres Strait) er sundet mellom Australia og Ny-Guinea. Sundet forbinder randhavene Korallhavet i øst med Arafurasjøen i vest, og danner dermed en forbindelse mellom Stillehavet og Indiahavet.
