World Championship Wrestling (WCW) var et av USAs ledende fribryterforbund, sammen med World Wrestling Federation (World Wrestling Entertainment) og Extreme Championship Wrestling. WCW var eid av Ted Turner fra 1986–2001, da det ble kjøpt opp av Vince McMahons WWF. Eric Bischoff har mye av æren til WCWs popularitet.
