Stroud er et administrativt distrikt i Gloucestershire, England. Det har navn etter den største byen, Stroud. Administrasjonen holder til i Ebley i utkanten av Stroud by.

Området består av deler av Cotswolds og et område i den grunne og fruktbare dalen elven Severn renner gjennom. Cotswolds er en Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, og er dermed et beskyttet område. Den populære turveien Cotswold Way går gjennom distriktet. Byen Stroud ligger helt nord i distriktet, i et område som er skilt fra den sørlige delen av høye åser. I sør trekker man derfor heller mot mindre byer, spesielt Dursley og Wotton-under-Edge.
Distriktet ble opprettet 1. april 1974 ved at Nailsworth og Stroud bydistrikter samt Dursley og Stroud landdistrikter og deler av Gloucester, Sodbury og Thornbury landdistrikter ble slått sammen.
Det er mange fornminner fra yngre steinalder, jernalder og romersk tid i området. Av spesiell interesse er de mer enn hundre neolittiske gravene som er registrert der.
