Skærbæk kommune (tysk: Scherrebek) var en kommune sør i Jylland i Sønderjyllands amt i Danmark som ble dannet ved kommunalreformen i 1970. Kommunens administrasjonssentrum lå i byen ved samme navn. Ved den påfølgende kommunalreformen i 2007 ble kommunen en del av den nye Tønder kommune. Til kommunen hørte også øyen Rømø.

Skærbæk grenset til de tidligere kommunene Løgumkloster, Nørre-Rangstrup og Gram på østsiden og Bredebro i sør. I nord og vest grenset kommunen til Vadehavet.
Under kommunalreformen i 1970 ble de følgende sognene slått sammen til Skærbæk kommune:
Ved Kommunalreformen i 2007 ble kommunen slått sammen med kommunene Bredebro, Højer, Løgumkloster, Nørre-Rangstrup (unntatt Bevtoft sogn) og Tønder til Tønder kommune i den nye Region Syddanmark. Kommunens areal er etter dette 1278 km² og den har 40 331 (2007) innbyggere.
