Pribylovøyene (engelsk: Pribilof Islands, tidligere Northern Fur Seal Islands, aleutisk: Amig, i aleutisk tradisjon: Aamix,[3] russisk: Lebedev Ostrova eller Zubov.[1] Også tidligere omtalt som the «Mist Islands», the «Seal Islands», the «New Islands» eller the «Northern Isles») er en øygruppe i Beringhavet, om lag 500 kilometer vest for Alaskas fastland. Øygruppen ligger i statistikkområdet Aleutians West, og består av de fire øyene St. Paul og St. George, som er de eneste med bosetning, og de to mindre Otter og Walrus og steinen Sea Lion Rock.

St. George ble oppdaget av Gavriil Pribylov i juni 1786, da han var på leting etter den nordlige pelsselens levested.[3] I 1787 oppdaget Pribylovs besetning St. Paul. De to øyene var ubebodd, og den ene fikk navn etter Pribylovs skip, «Sveti Georgij», mens St. Paul, som ble oppdaget dagen for petersmessen, fikk navn etter apostelen Paulus.[4][3]
I 1788 ble aleuter tatt som slaver av Det russisk-amerikanske kompaniet for å jakte på seler på øyene, og rundt 1820 hadde det blitt bygd opp en permanent bosetning av slaver som ikke fikk returnere hjem.[3] Fra 1870 ble Probilof-øyene leid ut til de private selskapene Alaska Commercial Company og North American Commercial Company, og i 1910 tok U.S. Bureau of Fisheries kontroll over øyene og industrien, og aleutene ble behandlet som vakter for regjeringen.[3]
Den aleutiske befolkningen ble tvangsevakuert til Funter Bay, vest for Juneau, under andre verdenskrig fra 1942 til 1944.[3] 32 personer døde i evakueringsperioden.[3] På midten av 60-tallet oppnådde Probilof-aleutene fulle rettigheter som amerikanske borgere, og fra 1983 ble det slutt på den statlige kontrollen over seljakten. I 1985 ble det slutt på kommersiell selfangst.[3]
Befolkningen på Pribylovøyene er konsentrert i de to byene St. Paul og St. George, som har henholdsvis 484 og 100 innbyggere (2013-estimat). 87 prosent av befolkningen er aleuter, mens 12 prosent er hvite.[3][4]
Fra 1880 har befolkningen på øya St. George vært på mellom 80 og 264,[4] mens innbyggertallet på St. Paul har vokst fra 298 i 1880 til 763 i 1990, med en betydelig nedgang i ettertid.[3]
Næringslivet på Pribylovøyene består i hovedsak av fiske, administrasjon og turisme.[3][4] Fangst av pelssel for privat livsopphold er også viktig i samfunnene.
Det er flyplasser på begge hovedøyene, med forbindelser mellom øyene og til fastlandet.
