Prøysenstua er den tidligere husmannsplassen Prøysen til gården Hjelmstad, ved Præstvegen i Ringsaker. Den er kjent som et kunstnerhjem ettersom forfatteren og visekunstneren Alf Prøysen (1914–1970) ble født og vokste opp her i årene 1914–1939.

Huset har en historie tilbake til 1860-årene, og tilhørte gården inntil Alf Prøysen kjøpte den i 1955 som foreldrenes bosted. Han solgte det til nevøen Rolf Hagen samme år, og dennes familie bodde i huset inntil det i 1985 ble overtatt av Ringsaker kommune. Huset var i det meste av denne perioden tilgjengelig for besøkende. Etter at Prøysenhuset åpnet i 1997, har ansvaret for plassen blitt overført dit. Den er restaurert i de senere år, fjøs og låve er tilbakeført slik de var i Alf Prøysens barndom på 1920-tallet. Huset og omgivelsene er skildret i en lang rekke av Prøysens «lørdagsstubber» og viser, og i erindringsboka Det var da det og itte nå.
Prøysenstua ble fredet i 2018.[1]
Det nye Prøysenhuset som åpnet i 2014, står like ved Prøysenstua. På Rudshøgda, der det gamle Prøysenhuset lå i nærheten av butikkene, er det en park med Sivert Donalis statue av Prøysen.
