AL Oslo Fiskehall, bedre kjent som Fiskehallen på Vippetangen (Akershusstranda 23 i Oslo), er et fungerende norsk våtmarked i drift, et engrosmarked der det har blitt omsatt råvarer til sjømat siden den første fiskehallen ble bygget der i 1905.[1] Tidligere var den bare ei fiskehavn der, ved Børskvarteret, med et fisketorg.[2] Kaiene med granittfronter på Vippetangen ble anlagt 1899–1902, og er blant de eldste bevarte havnestrukturene i Oslo havn.

Fiskehallen fra 1905, som var krum som en banan, ble raskt for liten. Alt i 1910 var diskusjonene igang om hvor en eventuelt en ny fiskehall skulle ligge; både Bjørvika, Grønlands torg, Sjursøya, Jernbanegata og fortsatt drift på Vippetangen var med i bildet. Det tok mange år og mange forslag å bli enige, men tilslutt ble det bygget ny fiskehall på Vippetangen.[1]
Den nye fiskehallen, som i en periode fikk navnet Oslos Kommunale Fiskehall,[2] var på 9 700 m2 og hadde ei 115 m lang kai rett utenfor fiskemottaket, der fiskebåtene kunne legg til for å losse fangsten. Bygget var i betong over to etasjer, og ble offisielt åpnet 9. desember 1933 av kong Haakon VII. Aftenposten skrev i sin omtale at den nye fiskehallen var «den mest moderne engros-fiskehall i Europa».[1] På det meste var det cirka 30 grossister der, og råvarene kom inn med både båter og tog. I dag er dem kun fire grossister, men fiskehallen håndterer cirka 100 tonn sjømat daglig, hvorav det meste ankommer på store trailere eller mindre lastebiler.
Fiskehallen, som i dag er Norges største fiskemarked,[2] har siden starten kun drevet med engrosvirksomhet (altså en handel som har vært lukket for publikum), men den 20. januar 2017 kunne NRK melde at, «Oslo Fiskehall vil lage sjømatsenter på Vippetangen», og sånn sett åpne seg noe opp mot publikum.[3] Det forelå blant annet planer om en ny restaurant for sjømat, med uteservering på en ny takterrasse.[1] Den nye restauranten, som fikk navnet Hallen Spiseri & Fiskeutsalg, ble et kombinert fiskeutsalg og sjømatrestaurant, som åpnet dørene for publikum i oktober 2018.[1] Restaurantkonseptet bidrar til å aktivisere og binde sammen området mellom Pipervika og Bjørvika, med sin beliggenhet omtrent midt imellom de to områdene.[2]
