Nusaybin (akkadisk: Naṣibina;[1] gresk: Νίσιβις; gammelsyrisk: ܢܨܝܒܝܢ, Niṣībīn; armensk: Մծբին, Mtsbin; kurdisk: Nisêbîn), tidligere nevnt som Nisibis, Nisibia, og Nisibin, var en oldtidsby i sørøstlige Anatolia, men er i dag en liten tyrkisk by på grensen mot Syria. Den syriske nabobyen Qamishli er hovedsakelig en utvidelse av Nusaybin, og var inntil nylig den mest folkerike delen. Om det ikke var for den internasjonale grensen mellom Syria og Tyrkia som går midt i det urbane området, ville det ha vært én by. Det bor 83 832 innbyggere per 2009,[2] hovedsakelig kurdisk avstamning.

Med en historie som strekker rundt 3000 år tilbake i tid har Nusaybin blitt bosatt og behersket av ulike folk og grupper. Den er først nevnt som en armensk bosetning, Naşibīna, i 901 f.Kr. Den ble behersket av assyrere. I klassisk litteratur kalt for Nisibis var den mesopotamiske byen som Aleksander den stores etterfølgere gjenopprettet som Antiokia Mygdonia (gresk: Αντιόχεια της Μυγδονίας), og på 300- og 400-tallet e.Kr. var den en av de store sentrene innenfor gammelsyrisk lærdom, sammen med nabobyen Edessa.[3] Senere fikk den også betydning for Romerriket.
Som et resultat av den syrisk borgerkrigen er byens grense med Syria, og i særdeleshet den store syrisk byen Qamishli, blitt stengt. Det hevdes at med opphør i handelen over grensen og jobbpending har ført til en oppgang på arbeidsledigheten på nær 90 prosent.[4]
