Hovedmoskeen i Groznyj, er Europas største moské, og har plass til over 10 000 mennesker[1]. Den ligger i den tsjetsjenske hovedstaden Groznyj. Moskeen ble offisielt åpnet 16. oktober 2008, og er bygd etter samme plan som en tyrkisk moské. Byggingen er gjort av et tyrkisk byggefirma, og prisen var over 20 millioner dollar.[2][3]

Da den første tsjetsjenske presidenten, Akhmad Kadyrov, var i Tyrkia noen år før sin død, så han en moské han likte godt. Han lovte da at en tilsvarende moské ville bli bygget i Groznyj. Han rakk ikke å oppfylle løftet før sin død, men sønnen hans, Ramzan Kadyrov, sørget for at moskéen ble bygd etter at han ble president.
