Mariinskij-teatret (russisk: Мариинский театр, Mariinskij teatr) i St. Petersburg ble bygd i 1860, og har vært sentrum for russisk opera og ballett. Teateret kan få plass til cirka 1800 tilskuere. Teateret ble en av de russiske hovedscenene på 1800-tallet. Mange av mesterverkene til Tsjajkovskij, Musorgskij og Rimskij-Korsakov hadde sin uroppføring i dette teatret. Mariinskij-teatret er hovedscene for Mariinskijballetten og Mariinskij-teatrets orkester.

GATOB – Gosudarstvennyj Akademitsjeskij Teatr Opery i Baleta (Statens akademiske teater for opera og ballett) er navnet på det tidligere St. Petersburg-Petrograd Marinskij teater siden oktoberrevolusjonen 1917 og siden 1935 også kjent som Kirovteateret.[1]
