Fernpasset er et fjellpass i den østerrikske delstaten Tirol. Passet er en viktig forbindelse mellom Inndalen og Tyskland. Allerede romerne bygget veien Via Claudia Augusta fra Trento til Augsburg gjennom Alpene via Reschen- og Fernpasset. Også i middelalderen var Fernpasset ofte det foretrukne alternativet til Arlbergpasset. I dag er Fernpasset et av det mest trafikkerte passene i Øst-Alpene.

Det tyrolske området som ligger nordvest for passet (distriktet Reutte med bl.a. Lechtal), kalles Außerfern, dvs. «bortenfor Fern[passet]». Denne delen av Tirol drenerer nordover, mens nesten hele resten hører til Inns tilsigsfelt.
I nærhet av Fernpasset ligger også fjellgruppen Wetterstein med bl.a. Tysklands høyeste fjelltopp, Zugspitze.
