Det er produsert av presidenten i Casablanca Records, Neil Bogart, og utgitt i 1975. Albumet ble innspilt i Electric Lady Studios, New York.

Albumet oppnådde gullplate 28. februar 1977, da det hadde blitt solgt over 500 000 eksemplarer. Det ble utgitt i ny og remasteret utgave i 1997, sammen med de fleste andre av Kiss sine tidligere album.

Sporene «C'mon And Love Me» og «Rock and Roll All Nite» ble utgitt som singler. Ingen av dem klarte å stige høyt på listene før «Rock and Roll All Nite» ble utgitt som konsertopptak på det doble konsertalbumet Alive!.
