Byantikvarens gule liste er ifølge Byantikvaren i Oslo, «en oversikt over registrerte verneverdige kulturminner og kulturmiljøer i Oslo». Dette er bygninger og miljøer en ønsker å bevare. Gul liste forvaltes av Byantikvaren i Riksantikvarens kulturminnedatabase Askeladden. Publikum kan søke i Gul liste i Kulturminnesøk.
Fra byantikvarstillingen i Oslo ble opprettet i 1956 var en frednings- og bevaringsplan en viktig sak. Den første gule liste ble vedtatt i bystyret i 1962, med 106 husnummer. I juni 2002 var 7500 eiendommer oppført på Byantikvarens gule liste. Hvis en eiendom står på Gul liste er den enten formelt fredet etter kulturminneloven, formelt vernet etter plan- og bygningsloven eller vurdert som bevaringsverdig av Byantikvaren.
Den gule listen er ikke rettslig bindende i seg selv. Plan- og bygningsetaten oversender byggesaker for bygninger på listen til Byantikvaren som avgir en rådgivende uttalelse. Plan- og bygningsetaten sluttbehandler saken.
