Pixies er eit amerikansk band innanfor sjangeren alternativ rock. Bandet blei starta i 1986 av Charles Michael Kitridge Thompson IV (òg kjend som Black Francis og Frank Black) og Joseph Alberto Santiago. Dei fekk med seg Kim Deal og David Lovering. Gruppa gav ut fire album, ein EP og tolv singlar. Pixies blei oppløyst i 1992, men kom saman igjen i 2004.
