Johan Christian Tandberg Castberg (13. oktober 1827–8. desember 1899) var ein norsk stortingsrepresentant. Peter Castberg var far hans, Johan Castberg sonen hans.

Castberg var fødd i Fredrikstad. Han var ei kort tid til sjøs, før han gjekk middelskulen i Larvik og vart student med haud i 1846, juridisk kandidat med same karakter i juni 1850. Deretter var han i nokre år inspektør ved Sandefjords badeanstalt, undertollbetjent 1856 og 1866 overtollbetjent, først i Brevik, så i Skien frå 1871. Frå 1884 til 1897 var han styrar ved Noregs Bank si avdeling i Skien.
Han var i mange år medlem av bystyret i Skien, ordførar i fleire år. I 1874 starta han avisa Varden, som han redigerte dei ti fyrste åra ho kom ut.
Castberg var stortingsrepresentant for Skien 1877-79 og 1880-82. Han var medlem av protokollkomiteen 1877-78, medlem 1879 og formann 1880-82 i tollkomiteen. 1886-88 hadde han på nytt sete i Stortinget som 1. representant for Venstre i Skien, igjen var han formann i tollkomiteen.
Frå 1897 var Castberg tollinspektør i Trondheim. Han døydde der to år seinare.
