Fucinosjøen (italiensk Lago Fucino eller Lago di Celano) var ein stor innsjø sentralt i Italia, men han vart tømd for vatn i 1875.

I antikken vart han kalla Fucinus Lacus og romarane grunnla busetjingar ved breidda, som Marruvium. Han var åstad for slaget ved Fucinosjøen i år 89 e.Kr.. Sjølv om innsjøen gav frodig jord og mykje fisk, næra han òg malaria og utan naturlege utsig førte han ofte til flaum i det omliggande området. Keisar Claudius prøvde å kontrollere innsjøen ved å grave ein 5,6 km lang tunnel gjennom Monte Salviano, noko som tok 30 000 arbeidarar og ti år, utan at det hjelpte. Den opphavlege innsjøen hadde eit areal på om lag 140 km², som vart redusert til 90 km² etter Claudius sin tunnell vart bygd. Ein 4,5 km lang kanal vart forlenga og gjort djupare av Hadrian og dette reduserte arealet til 57 km². Ein større tunnel bygd på 1800-talet øydela den romerske tunnelen
På 1800-talet vart den sveitsiske ingeniøren Franz Mayor de Montricher utnemnd av prins Alessandro Torlonia til å drenere innsjøen. Han bygde ein 6,3 km lang og 21 meter brei kanal frå 1862 til 1875 og alt vatn i innsjøen rann ut. Sletta som oppstod er ei av dei frodigaste i Italia og kjelda til elva Garigliano.
