चौहान वा चव्हाण वा चहमान (नेपाली: चुहान) राजपुतको प्रसिद्ध वश वा कुलघरान हो। यो उत्तर भारतको आर्य जाति का एक वंश हो। सांभर झील, पुष्कर, आमेर र वर्तमान जयपुर (राजस्थान) मा र अतिरिक्त मैनपुरी (उत्तर प्रदेश) एवं अलवर जिल्लामा पनि इनकी ठूलो संख्या छ।[1] नेपालमा पनि चुहान नामका क्षेत्रीहरू पाइन्छन् जो राजपुतकै शाखा हुन् सक्छन् । चुहानडाँडा यिनी चुहान क्षेत्रीहरूको बसोबास रहनाले नामाङ्करण भएको थियो ।
