Enea hu eroj Trojjan, iben il-prinċep Ankise u l-alla mara Afrodite (Venere fil-mitoloġija Rumana). Il-vjaġġ ta' Enea minn Trojja, li wassal għat-twaqqif ta' belt li mal-milja taż-żmien kellha ssir Ruma, jipperkorrieh Virġilju fix-xogħol voluminuż tiegħu l-Enejide. Enea huwa persunaġġ ewlieni fil-leġġendi u fl-istorja, tant li jokkorri wkoll fl-Ilijade ta' Omeru u fid-dramm Troilus and Cressida ta' Shakespeare.
