Emma Thompson

Dame Emma Thompson, DBE (dilahirkan pada 15 April 1959) ialah seorang pelakon Inggeris yang terkenal dalam bidang perfileman dan telah memenangi banyak anugerah. Thompson dilahirkan di Paddington, London.

Filem utama pertama Thompson ialah dalam filem komedi romantik, The Tall Guy (1989). Kariernya beralih kepada peranan-peranan yang lebih serius dengan beberapa siri filem-filem yang dikenali ramai iaitu Howards End (1991), watak Gareth Peirce, seorang peguam untuk Guildford Four, dalam filem In the Name of the Father (1993), The Remains of the Day bersama dengan Anthony Hopkins, dan sebagai pelukis British, Dora Carrington dalam filem Carrington (1995).
