Dalam fisiologi, keupayaan tindakan (كاوڤايان تيندقن) merupakan peristiwa pendek di mana keupayaan membran elektrik suatu sel naik dan turun dengan pantas mengikuti lintasan yang selaras. Keupayaan tindakan berlaku dalam beberapa sel haiwan (di mana ia dipanggil sebagai sel mudah teruja) termasuklah sel otot, neuron dan sel endokrin serta beberapa sel tumbuhan. Dalam neuron, ia memainkan peranan dalam perhubungan antara sel ke sel.
