इ.स. १९८० मध्ये सुरू झालेले हे अभियांत्रिकी आणि तंत्रज्ञान महाविद्यालय या भागातील एकमेव सरकारी/शासकीय अभियांत्रिकी महाविद्यालय असून आता ही स्वायत्त संस्था आहे. इ.स. २००३ मध्ये यास भारतीय प्रौध्योगिकी संस्था असे मानांकन मिळाले. नांदेड शहरापासून अंदाजे १० कि.मी. अंतरावर हे महाविद्यालय वसलेले असून संस्थेच्या स्वतःच्या परिवहन सेवेद्वारे नांदेडशी जोडलेले आहे.
