കൊച്ചിനഗരത്തിന്റെ വികസന പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ആസൂത്രണം ചെയ്യാനും നടപ്പിലാക്കാനുമുള്ള ഒരു സമിതിയാണ് ഗ്രേറ്റർ കൊച്ചിൻ ഡവലപ്മെന്റ് അതോറിട്ടി അഥവാ ജി.സി.ഡി.എ. കൊച്ചി നഗരവും അതിനോട് ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ആറ് നഗരസഭകളും ഇരുപത്തഞ്ച് പഞ്ചായത്തുകളും അടങ്ങുന്ന പ്രദേശത്താണ് ഇതിന്റെ പ്രവർത്തനം. എറണാകുളം ഗാന്ധിനഗർ ലാണ് ഇതിന്റ കാര്യാലയം.
