രോഹിണി എന്നത് ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്പേസ് റിസർച്ച് ഓർഗനൈസേഷൻ അയച്ച ഉപഗ്രഹശ്രേണിയുടെ പേരാണ്. രോഹിണി ശ്രേണിയിൽ 4 ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ ആണുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. ഇവയെല്ലാം എസ്. എൽ. വി.(സാറ്റലൈറ്റ് ലോഞ്ച് വെഹിക്കിൾ) [1]വഴിയാണ് വിക്ഷേപിച്ചത്. അവയിൽ മൂന്നെണ്ണം വിജയകരമായി ഭ്രമണപഥത്തിലെത്തി. ഈ ശ്രേണിയിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും പരീക്ഷണാടിസ്ഥാനത്തിലുള്ള ഉപഗ്രഹങ്ങളായിരുന്നു.
