ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കർണാടക സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ഒരു ജില്ലയാണ് ഗദഗ് ജില്ല. 2011-ലെ കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് ഇവിടുത്തെ ജനസംഖ്യ 1,065,235[1] ആണ്, ഇതിൽ 35.21 ശതമാനം നഗരങ്ങളിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു. ഗദഗ് ജില്ലാ അതിർത്തികൾ വടക്കു ബാഗൽകോട്ട് ജില്ല, കിഴക്കു കൊപ്പൽ ജില്ല,തെക്ക് കിഴക്ക് ബെല്ലാരി ജില്ല, തെക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറ് ഹാവേരി ജില്ല പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ധാർവാഡ് ജില്ല, വടക്ക്പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ബെൽഗാം ജില്ല എന്നിവയാണ്. 1997-ൽ രൂപീകൃതമായ ഈ ജില്ലയിൽ ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന പ്രദേശങ്ങൾ നേരത്തെ ധാർവാഡ് ജില്ലയുടെ ഭാഗമായിരുന്നു.
