അഞ്ചാമതായി നടക്കേണ്ടിയിരുന്ന ഏഷ്യാകപ്പായിരുന്നു 1993 ഏഷ്യാകപ്പ്. പാകിസ്താനിൽ ആയിരുന്നു ഈ ടൂർണ്ണമെന്റ് സംഘടിപ്പിക്കാൻ ഇരുന്നത്. എന്നാൽ ഇന്ത്യയും പാകിസ്താനും തമ്മിലുള്ള രാഷ്ട്രീയ ബന്ധം മോശമായതിനെ തുടർന്ന് ഈ ടൂർണ്ണമെന്റ് റദ്ദാക്കി.
